The Un-Educated Parent
W
hen the son came to his mother and asked her about sex education
She turns her head and walks away instead of dealing with the situation
The boy had to learn on his own
So he started to explore
He constantly crave for more
His mother heard moaning and the bed vibrating
She knew the boy was in his room masturbating
After awhile she didn’t really want him around
She sent him out to go anywhere in town
She didn’t want him to come in
Until a quarter after ten
All he did was roam the streets
Constantly being approach by people he didn’t need to meet
Being accepted by others made him feel proud
So he started hanging with the wrong crowd
He started with liquor, drugs and next came sex
Going from girl to girl having un-protective sex
Weeks later he started getting sick and he didn’t know that to do next
The doctors ran all kinds of test
Couldn’t find anything wrong, told him to go home and get some rest
He didn’t get any better
His results came back in a letter
The mother begin crying
Because her son is dying
From an incurable disease
She fell to her knees
Soon her son will fade
Away from the deadly virus called AIDS
She couldn’t find the words to tell him
Why he was so sick and thin
The boy didn’t have a clue
What he was about to go through
The mother knew it was too late to correct her wrong
She kept it together in order to keep her son strong
She sat by his bedside and sang his favorite song
Because she knew it wouldn’t be long
She couldn’t deal with the reality
Because now her son is among the fatality
